Navajha Kizhi is one of the most effective and distinguished treatments of Ayurveda to get relief from pain, reduce inflammation, and heal musculoskeletal tissues. A poultice prepared with nine different therapeutic packages, namely kizhi, is prepared from closenic turmeric and fenugreek and other powerful anti-inflammation and analgesia herbs. The powders are mixed with a warmed medicated oil and filled in a cloth pouch, and rubbed on body parts.

The poultice is rhythmically and continuously massaged over the affected areas, so that warmth and herbal properties both pass deeply into the tissues. This would help in stimulation of blood circulation, reduction of muscle stiffness, and allaying of joint pains. Also, in arthritis, chronic pains, and muscular discomfort, Navajha Kizhi provides very good results.
